There's a place called Newtownmountkennedy in Ireland.... certain jokes going round Ireland about getting one's hometown tattooed on ur body, and the punchline is always Newtownmountkennedy tattooed on a guy's you-know-what!!

Incidentially, how many places called Dublin are there apart from the Irish one? I know there's one or two in teh U.S., and one in Australia, I think?

The best laugh over a town name happened in Cali actually, near Bakersfield, CA. There are a couple small towns there Buttonwillow and MCkittrick? Im probably butchering the second spelling. At any rate, say those names with a southern accent, not in cali speak, it gets pretty funny.

Right outside of Truth or Consequences, NM is Elephant Butte, NM and 75 miles north of that is Socorro (spanish for a cry for help, and believe me this town needs help ). Also, Show Low, AZ
