Excellent album. IIRC, lots of great musicians on this one.Just picked this up in a secondhand record store. Dirt cheap. I’m working on a spread sheet with bands and artists cross referenced. Not sure I can pull off the Fusion Flavour map. Seems like a lot of work but I’ll keep picking away at it to see what I can come up with. View attachment 4068116
They were profoundly bizarre. I found out about them from an interview with Tony Levin, where he said he was awed by their ability to be so tight doing things so seemingly arrhythmic. They played places in Oakland that I used to frequent when I was visiting the Bay Area in those days, but somehow I never came across them.Oops! Magma is an oversight on my part. They will be added to the update, hopefully next week. Never heard of SGM but I’ll add them in.
I think I going to have to take a punt and just order some Passport vinyl online. What’s the most instrumental/fusion album by them?
