So Croatia bros, did you get a tracking number or did it just show up? I'm more thinking about the possibility of paying a brokerage fee and being here to pay it. It showing up randomly is totally cool with me other than that. Kind of a nice surprise.

I think his point was that on those other units you were supposed to be able to dial it out completely but weren't, even when the dry was 0. So to say "you can set dry to 0 in the editor" doesn't totally answer the question---though arguably your sound clips answer it.
yeah well it answers it somewhat. let me explain more in detail: it depends on the sound. you can adjust the wet/dry level on the unit to a certain amount. if the dry signal in the original saved sound is too high set, you will not be able to dial it out. if it is set too low you will not be able to dial it in.

Looking at the diagrams and screenshot on the site, it looks like the "bass" parameter simply controls the dry, and additionally this goes through a chain of effects...? Am I in the right direction?OK. This is even more confusing than before

I agree, that doesn't make sense. The way I'm reading it, that implies that the range of the wet/dry parameter depends on the initial value of the preset.

or at least I think that's it. I have to check again since I never used this, because I made the sounds how I liked them...
no. but you could only make the dry softer. but you will never have dry and wet at 100% since it is much louder than unity gain.

I'd be interested to hear of tracking accuracy with fretless bass, particularly on long sustained notes... the Super Synth is exceptional in this respect.

I'm looking forward to trying a fretless too. I'll update my thoughts as soon as I get my FI.
I wouldn't be surprised if fretless tracking is spot on. I bet it is easier to track sliding notes than some of the quick staccato lines we have heard with superior tracking.
I'm getting dangerously stoked again ever since I sent Gabor my phone number to complete shipment.
