+1 before the FII would use it before. if a sound gets too loud (which?) you may want to edit it a little so that the filter is less resonant for example...generally you can very easily make sounds that stay in a given loudness range

$8.63 for the duty. Plus a $30 service fee for TNT being kind enough to clear my shipment with customs, so I wouldn't have to pay the $8.63 directly to US Customs myself.![]()

So has anybody else had trouble with the MIDI channel? Here's what happened to me.
(1) I set the MIDI channel to MIDI channel 6 using lokki's editor
(2) It worked on channel 6 for a while
(3) It's now clearly back on OMNI even though I didn't set it that way (responds to PC commands from multiple channels)
(4) I tried to change it back to channel 6 using my own MIDI Designer editor and the MIDI specifications I got from lokki, which are straight from Andras.
(5) When I do (4), I can tell that the FI is receiving data based on the display going into edit mode
(6) However, I haven't been able to get it out of OMNI mode
I'll try lokki's editor again tonight. I really don't need another unreliable MIDI device in my setup, so I hope there is a good explanation here....
just for clarification, did you change patches in between? midi channel is a per patch option, not globally...
i don't have the f.i. here at the moment so i cannot check. if it is a bug andras will surely fix it soon!
The invoice has codes for each charge:
- DT = customs duty, $8.63
- HDG = TNT handling service fee, $15.00
- Then there's the mysterious "PI" code, also for $15.00, but has no explanation
