There was a group that did it and a few of those are floating out there. Independently I also did my own with some help from a friend. I got mine into a 1590CE with the footswitches and everything. With precise measurements and carefully drilling, we got everything lined up on the first attempt, but you are correct that the jacks being surface mounted makes it a little more complicated.

I once saw a guy who had 3D printed a small enclosure for a Source Audio BEF Pro. Just spent hours trying to move to a smaller board but FI makes this so hard and im going back to the bigger one. Would love to mount it in a small box.

Your patches were pretty dope. I had a really hard time choosing since they are all nuanced versions of the similar sounds. My original pass through had every flavor of square you made...I forced myself to choose a subset.

I designed and printed the enclosure myself. It's still a work in progress but once the design is finished I'll make it available for download so you can print it yourself. Or I'd be happy to print one and post it out for those who are interested.

I’m pretty sure the current FI is metal (at least it feels like it and the base plate definitely is).

i control mine from a Boss ES8 so i never need to put my foot near it.

I had no idea there was so much demand for these. i've already had at least 10 requests today here and in other forums.

Anybody interested can send me a mail to [email protected] - put "Future impact housing" in the subject and let me know where in the world you are so i can look at postage options. (im in the UK)

When the design is finished, ill notify everybody and ill print a few batches. I can print 6 at a time. First come first served.
