What I meant was it doesn't have a complete editing interface with access to every parameter sans computer. I also forgot to include that this IMHO.
I think it's a great product as is. If priced at $4-500 I doubt it would fly off shelfs outside Talkbass. Which is fine if that fits Panda's goal. Just my $.02.

Based on the images I've seen it appears to be in the same casing as a Unibass/Deep Impact. IF (speculation is always fun) that is the case then the case will be 7"x5.5" and made of metal.
So I have a question regarding the actual sale of this product on the site listed. So they include a VAT price that is added. I was under the impression that as a United States citizen I do not have to pay EU Vat. Which makes me wonder will that change? If not, why would it be charged?
We obviously don't pay Vat since we're not in the EU but it is always possible you'll be hit with customs charges on imported packages. I'm really not sure what triggers it. I've been charged for things from Canada and China but have also received plenty of things from those countries with no charges.

See that's why I was asking. I've actually only paid once for a charge outside the US and that was because UPS charged it. Some kind of handling fee or something. It was for those pedals from Italy, but there were a lot of them. I have no clue. I order stuff all the time from overseas and never pay anything extra. So I was curious.
I mean, whatever. As long as the price lines up, I'm good with it.
I will say the one thing I wish that would change is the graphic. It's ok, but if it's a 500 dollar pedal, it'd be nice to have it look a bit classier. But that's totally just my opinion and I'd still buy regardless.
"Tax" does appear separately in the cart.
My guess is he would refund it to customers outside the EU, or issue a VAT free Paypal invoice upon request. Better check with him though.
I live in the country in the middle of Europe, yet we're not part of the EU (we buy from them VAT free and pay our own, lower VAT upon import).
I've had only once a seller from Germany refuse to deduct VAT from their sale price. Needless to say I did not go through with the purchase.

We've had this discussion before, but I think the graphic is awesome, albeit in a slightly cheesy way. Give me that design over something plain or something with METAL SKULLZ any day.
I 100% believe the graphic is part of the charm. I'll very proudly have that on my board. If ya know, ya know. If not, make fun all you want until my bass makes you poop. 
I could see that. I'm not against it. It's sci fi. I guess the picture is just a bit deceiving and I'm hoping it's not a sticker or something. LOL.
It definitely looks like a sticker in the pic but it could just be a mockup. It looks like one of those printout sticker sheets you can buy at Walmart and print out at home on your printer. Maybe he was just getting an idea for the graphics. It is possible he'll have the final enclosures screen printed. I don't really care one way or the other what it looks like.
I love talkbass but you guys are nuts! LOL! I couldn't care less if the pedal looked like a turd as long as it works well and sounds great! 
There are some pedals out there with such embarrassingly bad art on them that I would never own one, no matter what it sounds like.
But the art on this Future Impact is actually pretty tasty. 80's retro-futurism, the font ties it all together. I agree that I hope it is silkscreened and not a sticker, but if it is a sticker all the haters can peel it off! Lol
