Fuzzrocious Club Quadratic Equation

So I got my Grey Stache and I'm really diggin it. I find its most useful with the mids at 3'oclock and the sustain dimed. Toggle in the middle position. Just kinda throwin it on for chorus's ,bridges and assorted face melting parts. My question is with the tone knob. It only has a very subtle change from dialed back to all the way up. Im thinkin its cause the sustain is all the way up, and I almost don't care, cause it sounds awesome anyway. But is this normal? I got it from another TB dude, not from Ryan. Im just curious if this is the nature of the pedal or is it my set-up. So far Ive only run it with the VT bass and a tuner in front of it.

With the mids higher, the tone knob is more subtle. Dial the mids back to hear a bigger sweep...but who wants less mids?!

Yeah, no chance. The mids make the pedal. Plus when it gets onto my board there will be more ways to tweak it if need be. I have a DD on the way as well and I'm thinkin it will be perfect driving my Rusty Box. That's more of an always on combo. Ryan, when will those awesome hoodies be up for grabs?

I saw Young Widows at Kung Fu Necktie in Philly a few months back. Stood right in front of Nick, def being a gear nerd. He uses the Rattail all the time now. No more vintage Rat. The RD Artist is a beast. He tunes the E down to D but the rest are standard tuning. I'm pretty sure he took the pre amp out of the Artist though. I know alot of people who love that bass but don't like that pre amp at all. I doubt his sound would be that awesome with it in there. Especially with the dirty signal. But, maybe i'm wrong. Either way ,they tore it up,new songs were great

Child pullover was just for our son. Literally no one bought a child-sized shirt on our last run, so we didn't do kid hoodies. Cute though, right?
