I think thats one of the great things about these pedals - they play really well with all other options on the board. The BDPG and the Pog2 seem to really like eachother as well.

Thinking of replacing my Fulltone Bass Drive with a BDPG. I only use the Bass Drive for low gain stuff... at which it's great. But it doesn't really sound great in conjuction with other dirt pedals. SO I figure the BDPG will do the job of low gain on it's own... and then sound amazing after my Stache as well according to everyone else's feedback!

I used a Bass Drive for years and genuinely like it as a pedal. That said, the BDPG feels like it is voiced quite a bit better for bass. The Bass Drive does the tubescreamer thing very very well but I have always though it sort of "includes" bass frequencies on top of it's core sound. The BDPG just has bottom end gain at the heart of it's tone - and it kills with other pedals.

I just ordered a Dark Driving.Thinking I will try DD into Rat Tail into BDPG for a while....

So I made a few changes. Im replacing the DD with a Rat Tail for an OD. This was a good move, Nick Thieneman's sound was what started my Fuzzrocious GAS in the first place. And, im replacing the Grey Stache with a TAFM. This I'm having a little trouble with. Even though I could most def score another GS, I got the most compliments at shows when I kicked that on. So overall im stoked, I know I'll love the RT. But sending the GS out was like this break-up that I feel gross about.Hahaha. I expalined this to my girl last night and she gave this " stop spending your entire day off on talkbass look". Hilarious

Yesterday my Brother got his GS!
Since he is also one of my guitarists we had a fun time with it.
Cool thing! eats the NYC Muff for breakfast. We got some cool Saint Vitus-style sounds out of it with his jcm800.
Gonne do a guitar and bass-demo alike to the one I did with my OSD in the next weeks.
Now its also on my GAS-List (and the our other guitarist loves it too)!

Current pedal board, sadly the Grey Stache will be coming off to become studio only to make way for BDPG and OSD. BDPG will be in the clean loop to add a little boost as well as chuck up the terrordactyl in the loop.
