Fuzzrocious Club Quadratic Equation

could someone post some more clips of the BDPG, in official one the pedal sounds kinda nasaly IMO. No offense.

I think some of the guys recording the samples have said they set their tone knob to about 9 oclock which would definitely give a more nasally tone which might be better for a heavier driving sound that they are trying to achieve. other factors might be their bass, amp, recording device, etc. I can't speak for them though. i dig that sound for certain songs or situations though.

i have found the tone knob @ 12noon to be fairly balanced with a good heaping of low end and the more clockwise I go towards 3 oclock or more it definitely gets a super fat deep dubby sound that is not even close to being nasally.

i'm not sure I can say that I've heard too many samples of the dubby side of the tone knob so I might have to make a few recordings of my tone this weekend to post up. we'll see.

i received my very first Fuzzrocious pedals and they are even better than I imagined! How did I ever play without a BDPG? I may call it "The Secret Weapon" or maybe it should just be renamed "Viagra" because honestly it makes me hard and my tone has never been this strong!

And I also received an etched Grey Stache with a 2nd sustain setting for melting faces! simply beautiful and just what the doctor ordered!

I believe it is GS #071 and BDPG #110.

Thank you, Ryan!

Worked beautifully with the band and they were in awe!

Do I get a number now?

:D diggin' that Stache!! Love it!

Hope those helped!
If there is something specific you want to hear that isn't covered just let me know.

edit...I just listened to all my demos myself of the BDPG, and WOW does it sound KILLER!!!! I am pleased! :bassist:
Yep it helped, but I guess you really hear it's collness when you use it in a band situation.
I would love to try out the BDPG.

Of course.
I always have it or the Dark Driving on(or both:p) on in my band the Barleywine Sound Union. We do a wide variety of styles of music from heavy to swamp to bluegrass to rock to...you name it? and if it/they didnt cut thru they would be useless to me and would be gone.
I've tried a million different od's, preamps etc and the only ones for their size, versatility, builder coolness and flat out Sound In A Band Mix that I have felt 100% comfortable with soundwise and proud to keep on my board to build my entire tone around are them.

If anyone wonders how the Grey Stache sounds on guitar :o, here is a updated demo of me barely playing Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam.
It starts clean, then GS with gain as clean as it'll get haha, and mids pulled back. It's really cool to hear how much mids sound great cranked on bass, but terrible cranked on guitar!
Then the solo is mostly maxed. Pardon the playing, afterall I am a bass player!

I'm starting to think about trading in my early Fulltone bassdrive (non mosfet) to try out the DD or the BDPG

#110- black_ninja - RT

Being French is ok here. All we care about is how dirty your tone is :D We judge a man NOT by the origin of his nationality, but by the filth in his bass tone! :bassist:

J/K, welcome and proud to have you in the family.
