using my rat tail in 2 songs atm(wish it could be more, the band isn't suited to grindy distortion so gota pick my moments.) but it stands out great, my guitarist asked what the pedal was with the bright white led. and i said "oh ya know, got this dude in the states to build me a custom Rat....." like it weren't no thang.

Looks like we have similar taste in pedals Joseph, you have my original Dark Driving...not my name on the back plate, got it that way. I hope the Pentavocal is treating you well.
I have a BDPG and Rat Tail due to ship out tomorrow. Really looking forward to getting some Fuzzrocious tones onto my board. I figure I've picked a couple of good pedals to start with

Got to play my first show with my Rat King last night, was amazing. Made my bass sound how I've always wanted it too, cut right through the mix!
Might need a Dark Driving in front of it tho, thanks to tigerbass' clips. 
BTW can you add a Rat King to my name on the list Plays_for_Dog? I'd appreciate it.

Well I'll say part of ry's success is that I can email him a question even at odd times of the day and I usually get a reply within 10 minutes.

So glad you guys are understanding and supportive of small builders such as us who do things DIY (painting, drilling, etc.).
We caught some flak on another forum for not having good quality pedals. It definitely hurts to get chastised for doing things on our own.
You guys make us feel welcome and we're glad you "get" us.

I'm working on paying my soon-to-be wife's credit card debt off before I place my order.
However, I have sent him several emails with sometimes lengthy questions. And, he has always gotten back to me almost immediately. He earned my respect and future dollars with the first friendly reply.
What? People really have a problem with the quality of your effects? I`m not trying to give ya a Rusty Trombone here but I have total faith in my stache and rat tail and they haven`t sh!t the bed yet. What kind of quality issues were reported?

I just play it off like what you've never heard of fuzzrocious well you can order one but there was a wait cause everyone wants em.
