BDPG after dirt pedals, especially fuzz, adds this deepness to the tone without sacrificing mids. It's just sounds devastating!

Well I may have to get a bdpg. So now I need a stache the dd the Osd and the bdpg. Now if only I had money.
I'd imagine the Grey Stache into PDBG sounds similar to my setup, but I run into a VT Bass instead. It solidifies the low end, and boosts the upper-mids of the fuzz (thats how I have my VT set up, found it works as well for fuzz as for clean tones.)
The Grey Stache is a keeper for me for sure. It sounds exactly like the Muffs I've always used, but has a magic "Mid" knob that should be called "Audibility in a band mix", just apply ample fuzz and slowly turn up the Mid knob until you're present in your final band mix with drums and guitars.
Of course back in the bedroom it sounds over-middy and "bad", the Stache solo'd is better with a heavy scoop IMO, with other musicians though its crucial.

No. My best bedroom Stache tone is mids cranked, tone fully ccw, gain cranked, volume to just above unity, mild-to-medium gate, and gain boost on. That's also how I use it in my band.
This is a work in progress, waiting on 4 more pedals from Fuzzrocious to arrive before George L cable is installed.

I did try that way and it was horrible, FW got completely destroyed.
The FW literally lost half of the notes and was struggling to fuzz my sound properly once DD was engaged.
FW into DD actually makes the fuzz incredibly dark and thick.
I say my FW will be taken off once the GS arrives from Prymaxe Vintage.
Man, flipping one of Ry's pedals on here was hard. Like I was letting someone down, mostly myself, selling it was easy tho. That thing didn't last an hour... haha.
Hope it finds a happier place on your board Fabe.
My Broke Dick (ha) works wonders in all of my projects. It's been working well for me as an always on drive pedal in one of my bands (my v4b is in the shop meh) and provided me a lovely amount of low end thump without losing any definition in my more subdued project.
It also gets plenty angry when I use it in my metal/doom/what the cool kids are playing band. My muff clone into the screaming Broke Dick KILLS. It gets devastating and can provided that endless 'it shakes your mind' sustained note. I'm experimenting with other overdrives and dirt solutions right now (GAS) and we'll see what happens once I get my v4b back and I pay off the SVT I have on hold.

As you suggested, I tried my Stache > BDPG...good LORD is that nice! And I just found that Loop-Master has a 1590a single-loop box for $35...fate is calling here, I suspect.

BDPG and Rat Tail arrived here in Oz yesterday. I got about 30 minutes on them (with my 14 month old daughter "helping" me to adjust settings) 
Initial impressions are the Rat has an awesome amount of range and will kill in a band setting. The BDPG is a dirt pedal's new best friend by the looks of things. It sounded amazing after the Rat, an EBS Valvedrive, a Dwarfcraft Baby Thundaa and even a Rusty Box. The options I now have to mess around with are mind boggling...
I also started to mess around with pre-gain on the BDPG and I love it's tone by itself. It adds a level of depth to my pbass that is going to be very useful. It may spend plenty of time as an always on pedal.
In short, first impressions are that the Rat is everything people say it is. Awesome dirt pedal, huge range. The BDPG in comparison, has really surprised me. It's hugely useful and is more than a good preamp or mild dirt pedal. I can't wait to spend more time on these in a band context. So far so good!
