Fuzzrocious Club - Sextuplet

Is the trilogic an EQ pedal? That's the only thing I'm still trying to figure out is some more treble boost for the DD. I'm pretty much there but I'd like to figure out a way to get a little more without having to tweak by B7K mid song or just when I stomp on it. I like the way it sounds with the tone knob fully CC but I also like it here too:

It seems to get a tad farty when it's fully CC.

The pedal does not do treble...it's a DARK driving haha. Try tweaking with the 2nd fs not on (led off). That is the "brighter" side.

Which one is the 2nd fs? Is that the first knob or the third one? Thanks for the input Ryan, it makes perfect sense hence it's name DER. I like the dark characteristic of the pedal, the flavor of it. It's like nothing else on my board so that's another reason why I like it. You hit the nail right on the head when you built it. I just have to get use to it. I'm a bass player that likes an OD and or dist to cut like a knife with some treble to it yet still retain its bottom.

Only the purple LED. The green one, activated by the left footswitch, gives a bassier tone. Try only the purple LED with the tone knob fully counterclockwise (7 o clock).

Not all LEDs are the same in our pedals.

Left fs (footswitch) is bright/dark. Right is bypass.
There's a handy dandy instruction manual image on the DD page of our site.

Custom build Grey Stache will soon be mine! And by soon I mean multiples of weeks from now, but you know, exciting nonetheless. Need to sell my current one, just don't know if I can "live" without it til then. Which is funny considering I never thought I'd like this pedal (since it's not based on a green muff), just picked it up as a trade offer whim. Such a tight, organic fuzz punch in the gut.

Well, used the BDPG in practice tonight. Awesome sounds comin out of this thing! One of my bands does mostly covers and we were working on eulogy by tool and man, it really helped me nail some toolish tones. Surprisingly very clean and cutting in the mix too. I thought I'd have issues dialing out the dirt that the BDPG produces at times but when I'm playing in a band setting, it sounds so tight. Well done fuzzrocious!

Will the grey stache get a really trebly gnarly fuzz or is it more of a darker fuzz? I have an MXR bass fuzz deluxe and I like it but it gets totally lost in the mix no matter how I set it. So, can the stache do really rippin sort of fuzz? I know that it's a muff clone of sorts and I don't really need that. I've heard people say that the wren and cuff TFR can do fuzz, and well, I didn't think it could do fuzz very good at all. But then again maybe my opinion of what fuzz sounds like is a lot different than most. I had a couple of you say I'd be back for a stache. I didn't believe you. Dang it.

Scratch this, sorry guys. I should've just gone on Ryan's site to begin with. I always looked past the stache because I saw that it was a sort of muff. But I listened to the first sound sample he has on there, the with silicone/no diodes+boost, and man, that's what I'm hearing in my head for what id like for fuzz. It seems like half my board is going to be fuzzrocious by the end of the year. Wowzza!

Hi

I recently purchase a Grey Stache on Talkbass. The back of the unit says 030. Not sure if its a serial number or not.

The reason I am posting is that I am not sure of a few items.

1) The left foot switch. I am not sure what this does. It seems to be momentary switch. Can anyone tell me what it's doing?

2) The 3 position mini toggle. I am not hearing any change . Does anybody know what this does?

3) When I turn the Tone Control ( middle knob to max) with the mid control to zero ( all the way to the left) is cuts off. Is that normal ?

I'd appreciate any info.

I tried contacting the person I got it from but his inbox is full.
