That said, lets hear some more about the Ram The Man parts. The demo sounds so awesome. Anyone using it? And in what context?
YES, I am curious as well

How many people bring fancy gear to gigs and they don't even have any cd's or t shirts for sale. Merch is how you make a profit without selling your musical soul. Having that been said, the Demon pedal rules. I've never had a distortion pedal that makes things clearer but the midrange tweak on the demon compared to the OCD really gives the Demon that SVT tone, and I played an all tube SVT-2 Pro for years. This pedal sounds as good as that amp with the tube drive and input gain controls cranked. Its my all time favorite pedal at this point, I never thought I could get that sound again without going all tube.
I've spent a long night reading about various pedals, clones, extreme cork sniffing effects snobs, etc. Now I have a question. What I'm looking for is lightly compressed od that can get bassy. I know that looking for an od means there will be compression, but I want something that stacks well but has a nice eq to it that can give my bass more body. By body, I mean more bass and low mids.
Broke Dick Peanut Gallery. Hands down, that's what you're describing and will need to fulfill that tone.
I have been using my BDPG as a preamp running straight into the effects return of a GK700rb and it sounds great, the distortion is much more subtle that way but man with the Demon pedal it has a very vintage tube amp sound. GK rb series amps are the ideal conduit for this because of the boost feature in the power amp section. With the boost cranked and the volume on the BDPG cranked I have no volume loss and its very clean and quiet. The GS also has a very vintage sound in this setup. I keep my input gain around 2 o'clock and the tone between 10 and 11 o'clock on the bdpg and its nice and punchy. If you don't have a GK head you would probably need a boost pedal as a driver section to maintain headroom.
BAM! New pedal day.
Thanks Ryan. (...And nice paint work to Shannon - really nice!)
- Dual gain
- Clean blend

I also feel like the Helio is one of Ryans best pedals and Im surprised that I don't hear about it more on the forum. Its really a unique, musical fuzz w/ alot of tone options. Maybe the idea that it was inspired by a Failure song distracts people that don't know Failure. They are really missing out on a great pedal.
I'm a huge fan of my helio, it's slowly becoming my main fuzz.

I still want one, but every time I have extra money, without fail, something goes wrong. Today I discovered a gas leak on my hunk of junk car.
Patience.

I think most people put it last. Check out the fuzzrocious club posts from a year back or so. There was a lot of talk about BDPG placement.
Received my BDPG # 050 todayI'm not sure where to place it in my chain though. I have it second to last right now and I'm wondering if it would be better after my B7K or before it. Anyone out there using this combination? Im going to try some different spots and see where it sounds best but would like to hear where yall are putting yours. Suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
