Fuzzrocious Club - Sextuplet

By answering these questions, the forum can better help:
Are you using the B7K at all times as a preamp?
Are you trying to use the BDPG as a preamp?
Are you trying to use both as always on preamps?

Or are you just using one, the other, or both as "pedals?"

I am using the B7K as an always on preamp and will continue to do so. I was going to try and use the BDPG as an always on pre AFTER the B7K, and still may do that, but I'm finding that I may just do what yaks said, stomp it on when I need it in certain passages like chorus parts or verses, bridges, wherever. I'm still finding the right levels I'm happy with on the BDPG. I'm liking the volume maxed and pre gain around 10 o'clock and the the tone 9 o'clock. It makes a pretty big difference bass to bass too. I had it before the 7 at first but I switched it to second to last, my wah being last, and it sounded better to my ears. Plus the wah acts better with everything going into it, I get more sweep range on everything. I'm really starting to dig the BDPG. I have to be honest, at first I didn't know what to think but then I just played with it for a while and I'm diggin it. Can't wait to for the next practice/show.

Did you try it after the B7K? And if not, what did it do to the tone of the B7K before it?

I hooked it before the B7K first. Didn't like it too much there. Then I tried it after and it sounded much better. It seemed I am able to control the levels, such as the EQ and volumes on both pedals better this way. If I had it before the 7 it seemed like it was too much everything. It's like if the 7 is running into the BDPG it's easier to tame if that makes sense.

^ the bdpg just needs to be last it makes everything going into it sound better and i just scored a demon!!!! Can't wait to pair it with my dd so you can add osd and dd next to my name and remove gs and bdpg plays for dogs

Lucky dog, that's the last piece to my puzzle other than a chorus pedal, the demon, that I need to add. Yeah, not sure if you did yet plays for dogs but I now have a DD, BDPG and a tremorslo with my RK. Thanks! Hopefully add a DK eventually.

to answer an earlier post, yes sir i run my board into the effects return with the bdpg at the end and crank the boost on the gk and crank the volume on the bdpg all the way up, it sounds great to me because its different and has that sound you cant get out of a modern amp, in this configuration it sounds tube like, the mids are more present. With the demon it sounds very retro and just has that Ipecac Records vibe(melvins, Tomahawk etc) very cool.

Sounds cool, I'll try that out and see what it sounds like for me.

I am just quoting you because you like Tomahawk and The Melvins. You are good people.

dropped off two demons at the post office today, one to worshipbass and the second (my demon king) to Ryan to swap the feedback looper back to a latching switch. fortunately I still have my 3 in 1 pedal so I'm not without that tone for band practice tomorrow.

me too!!!! my gf hates talkbass apparently i'm on jere way too much and spend way too much money lol but i finally got to use the darkdriving in service today it was on the whole service dont think i'm ever going to turn it off

Haha mine too man, i think she gets jealous at times. The DD is def a great pedal. I really like the mild character of it. I can't wait to get on it more often live. That with the BDPG adds so much body and balls to my sound. It's a great combo.

the high mid control on my trilogic really helps with theodd tone pot on the dd, great combo i get that low gain drive cutting through tge guitards

Is the trilogic an EQ pedal? That's the only thing I'm still trying to figure out is some more treble boost for the DD. I'm pretty much there but I'd like to figure out a way to get a little more without having to tweak by B7K mid song or just when I stomp on it. I like the way it sounds with the tone knob fully CC but I also like it here too:

It seems to get a tad farty when it's fully CC.
