Fuzzrocious Club - Sextuplet

Came home to find this beautiful thing waiting for me. I have it in front of the the B7K at the top of my signal chain. Wow.

interesting... seems like most people were saying they like it at the end of the signal chain. however i'm getting to grips with mine and definitely prefer it at the start of the chain/pushing other pedals. nice to hear i'm not alone!

congrats on the new pedal, too ;)

So I currently have a Dark Driving on my board which I was using for some slight overdrive stuff (nothing majorly distorted, just adding a touch), but I recently got a Darkglass Vintage Microtubes that I am sort of using for the same thing. I'm toying with the idea of trading the Dark Driving for a Rat Tail, but I'm afraid it might be too aggressive for the style I play. Can the Rat Tail get somewhat tame? I will want it edgier than the Vintage Microtubes, but not crazy...does that make sense? haha.

I may just stick with what I have but I'm toying with the idea...

It won't have that "fatness" the DD has. More grindy/metallic in sound. Different mids focus in the RT than the DD. Get both? ;)

I like it at the end because of the way it brings out different harmonics in my Grey Stache, harmonics not normally emphasized in most muff clones. I have an Oh See Demon on the way too wich will benefit from my BDPG as well. But i consider my BDPG to be almost more of a part of my amp rig than my pedalboard. Its just personal taste, but the Grey Stache through a BDPG is the best muff sound ever IMO.

+1. The OSD will also sound massive and incredible through the BDPG. You'll be in heavan.
