Fuzzrocious Club - Sextuplet

for over the top parts here and there, and my Black Metal side project it'll probobaly, sound wicked, but I anticipate that the OSD/BDPG combo will be my primary overdrive tone, and the Grey Stache will get a little bit of a break. But then again i do use my Stache in no diode mode, wich should let the OSD shine through along with the fuzz nicely. I think the Failure/heliotropic tone was originally contrived using a combo of distortions including a muff and an overdrive or two, but Ry would know about that more than I.

I don't know why I waited SO long to finally own one of these but at least I'm glad to finally have one. It spits out exactly everything I want my bass to sound like.

My RT has germanium and silicone diodes. I usually leave mine on the germanium setting, though. I mostly play at church and have been told by several people on the worship team that when I play the RT without diodes (toggle in the middle) I lose a lot of bottom end. I love how the RT sounds with the toggle in the middle so it bummed me out when I got told that. I don't want to call it a 'problem', but has this happened with anyone else?

That's strange, I don't notice that. I do notice when I switch "up" from center that I lose a lot of gain and have to boost volume to make up for it, but I don't sense any additional bass.

You could back off the distortion on the Bass knob...

Up= LED
Middle=No
Down=Silicon

Here's the easiest way to figure it out:
Open up your pedal.
The toggle activates the diodes opposite of its position (if toggle is up, it activates the diodes on the bottom of the toggle).

99% of the time if you have an up/down toggle, LEDs will be activated in the toggle down position.

If anyone hears bass loss in the middle toggle (no diodes) position, check your earholes ;) haha. What you might be hearing is the openness (aka less compression) and clarity. Silicons and germaniums are much more compressed and mushy sounding than LEDs or no diodes. LEDs will provide a tiny bit of crunch compared to no diodes.
