Just paid for the BQC control. I will have it next week and will give it a try. Since it is all plug and play, no harm no foul either way

interested to hear what you think. I have mid control on my old bass and maybe kind of miss it on the GG too. Please updateJust paid for the BQC control. I will have it next week and will give it a try. Since it is all plug and play, no harm no foul either way
Can anyone give me an idea of the age of it? Purchased it from a guy in Texas. Never gave me the year or any info on it. Headstock does not have Geoff's signature on it. 1198 or 1/98 on the headstock. As I look a bit closer it looks like it might be 1/98.. Any idea of what that wood might be? Top, back and neck? Maple for the neck maybe??

I guess I PM'd you before I read your post. Pretty much that was it for now!! Any idea of the board material? Rosewood? Chechen? Were these GGi5's then? I have seen some called GGJ's as well.
Also, that color would be what? Trans Green? Space Alien blood??
ABM Bridge? Gotoh tuners?
Geoff used the "ggj " name on his basses with maple necks. He started to use the "ggi " name when he went exclusively to kld necks.I was thinking Alien Blood Green would have been a bit more cool, but hey, Hulk Green works. What makes the difference between the J and the I?
