fwiw, even tho i mostly like lower-ish action,
i find that both tone and "true to the strings feel" are improved by having action higher-ish" when using flats.

ymmv, etc.

I used to never give G&L any attention (not sure why). Financial reasons forced me to sell gear this past fall and I have been without a bass for several months. That gave me the opportunity to really think about what I wanted in a bass and look at many different brands and models. I found this Tribute JB-2 at a pawn shop and it blew me away. It was exactly what I was looking for: light weight, looks good, sounds great, built well, affordable. I think this may be the beginning of a new obsession with a brand of basses. I can definitely see several more G&L's in my future,:bassist:
