Well, I was interested in having my ASAT modded at the factory, as it's still under warranty. I guess that was John's way of telling me "no."
I doubt that they'd do the mod at the factory, but if they did it would be expensive.

I had a 1997 L2500 I loved. Circumstance has twice dictated I liquidate stuff over the last few years, but I've had my eyeballs out for another 2500.
I hope this one is as good as my older one; we'll see...scheduled for tuesday delivery.

.Beautiful, Quadzilla! I love the way those old ones "yellow". Mine is a late '82 twin of yours, but mine has a black bridge and control plate. When did they switch from chrome to black, or was that an option back then?
