I don't know what an Audere does to an L2500. However, series would be better for thickness.
And you shouldn't have any difficulty getting thickness and note definition. Those are an L2500's strong suite.

I can't say for certainty, but from what I've read the Audere is transparent when set flat. I'm boosting eq's a bit from my description though. This could just be me trying to get more volume though. I could try setting the eq flat to see where I stand.
Audere...ick.
The first thing I'd try is ditching that.
