I was also wondering if anyone has come up with a pick guard design for the 1500 or 1505... with one pickup like that it looks perfect for a '72 Thinline P Bass type guard. If I got a G&L, I would probably try to make a guard for it (heresy I know).
But seriously, are there pick guards for the 1500 or 2500 series? At all? I know it may sound dumb, but I can't stand the look of a "naked"/all wood bass. Still, I'm really interested in either of these models or an ASAT after playing some with small frets.
Well, here it is! Custom ordered L2500 has just arrived over at Rocketmusic. It's going to get tweaked a bit in order to give me SC inner AND SC outer options along with the standard wiring, and then it's off to Norway with it!![]()
That's sweeeeeet! Congrats!!!!!
(*hate* the new serial number plate)
That's the one with the unique neck plate/joint, right?
I'd be curious if anyone has ever seen another one like that; I sure haven't.
