Picked up a nice 81 Natural L1K in a trade here on TB. Great bass, and Krustwell is now the owner of my previous 83 Red SB-1. If I didn't have another Powder blue 82 SB-1 I'd be crying, they are great basses. I tend to play L1Ks with the band and at worship services, but I plan to work the 82 SB-1 and maybe an 83 SB-2 into some gigs this summer swapping with an L1K to mix things up. I like the smaller slab bodies of the early SBs and the SC pups are really clear sounding and produce some decent low end.

Got this in a trade and love it
Strung it with Superlong D'Addario nickel roundwounds strung through the body and it is punchy as hell. Leveled the fingerboard with a StewMac 12" radius sanding block and its as good as new.
1999 USA L2500 Honeyburst, ebony fingerboard with Audere 3ZB preamp (very nice preamp). Have the original preamp but I'm liking this too much to change it. The control of the mids alone make it worth it. The G&L pickups are very impressive. Leo knew what he was doing.

Red is doing very well. i got some polish and cleaned it up, adjusted the action, etc, and have been playing it a lot at home. can't wait for my next turn at church to "play it out". so far, i am loving it. i'll try to get some pics up soon, too.

Just did not catch fretless fever as I thought I might..go figure? hahaha

Damn. There are some real beauties in here. I own a 1500 and a 2500 and I have sold off all other basses since the 1500 does everything except a low B, feel free to finish my sentence. I have proper no pics, is that a prerequisite for a number? Probably the only club I'll bother to join...
new(to me) L-1000 taking it's rightful place next to this guy. this one plays like a dream. it was like reconnecting with an old friend when i picked it up.
Yeah, and I can't get it back there's this big dog guarding it!
