Sorry
GB is Green Bay Wisconsin, I live 35 miles southeast of Green Bay in Manitowoc WI. if you have ever been in a hotel and saw a Manitowoc ice machine or saw a Manitowoc crane on a job site they are made here.
The guy who owns the music store that is a G&L Dealer, has been a G&L dealer since 1985 and it is where I got my first G&L. He also was my booking agent for more than 20 years, so yea I trust his guy
There were 5 things posted here and I email him them all pm me and I'll give you my eail and I'll send you what I have

Number please!

I just got my SB-2 Tribby a few weeks ago. I have loved playing her.
But now she is off to the local luthier to make her perfect.

Thanks for the offer, but I won't need the diagrams. They may have started out or were sourced through BassesByLeo and I know the guy that runs that joint.

It's good that you have a long term and positive relationship with your tech. Many aren't that fortunate.

Something to pass on to your tech: If your bass didn't start out as a "K" model, the "K" circuit will not work unless the pickups are modified. If you're using one of the "DavePlaysBass" circuits, you'll need a C&K Components 4PDT ON-ON-ON (#7411SYZQE) switch, not a 4 position switch. Pickup selector and active/passive switch can be left as-is

You'll like single coil mode.

To Ken
I stated it wrong, what you posted about the 4/on/on/on switch is what he is doing.
Thanks for the info though. I am very excited about the sc option.
Chef?
what else makes he BABP model different?
Thanks

I didn't think it would be $200 for a set. I need to order a new G&L case, before I do the tuners. Right now my 2500 is in the shop getting the K Mod and a upgraded active chip. Maybe next week I'll get her back. I can't wait to try out single coil!!!!!

I acquired L1500 a few months ago and it had the hump/ski-jump. I filed the frets tapering the high from the 14 fret to the 22nd. But over the past few months that I had it and that it has been properly set up, the neck is actually starting to flatten out a bit.

Low action no buzz now but at some point, pull the frets, plane the hump out and refret.
