I didn't mean it that way, sorry...
I don't know that I would have spent $400 on a neck.

Well on top of that I will face import duties. But this is all good, it's like at car dealerships when you hesitantly decide to close the deal and buy the last car of a given color, model, or whatever that they have in stock, they bring in someone to want to buy that exact car. So chef would have wished to buy that exact neck. My win? At that price, honestly, I don't know. If it had been an exact replacement, then yes definitely. Now it will forever say "SB-2" when the body screams L-2000.

So, I have spent the price of a full bass now and I have two necks en route... :crying::hiding::help:

I'm not sure if I've posted this before, but here's my SB-2. It was made in 2009 and is easily my favorite bass. This is the emerald blue metallic color.

Looking for a little help . . . I'm considering ordering an ASAT with a Hipshot XTender. Does anyone have a Hipshot installed on their ASAT? Any neck dive problems? Thanks in advance.

I didn't detect a difference in neck dive. The Hipshot key works fine but it sticks out a little beyond the others. Not something that I cared about but others certainly might. I have heard that Hipshot can make a custom that matches better but don't know this firsthand.
