'Carl', US L2500 fretless, 2012 :

An excellent fretless (after some small issues with workmanship that I could take care of), I dig the neck profile and string spacing, tone is still lacking a bit (bridge mod still pending, and probably wrong strings).

'Eleanor', Tribute L2000, 2012 :

Definitely the best fretted bass I ever had (apart from the modest pot/switch quality), I feel it's even better than the 96'ish US L2K I used to own. Had to slightly work on the fret finish but now it's close to perfect. Chunky necks and high action are my thing I begin to (re)discover, forces me to put emphasis on a solid tone rather than acrobatic moves.

I'm in! Here is a lovely ASAT in White Pearl with matching headstock. The fit and finish on this is second to none. The finish flip-flops between white and antique white (best represented by pic#2). Just amazing! Love the naked rosewood board. A lot heavier than I thought an ASAT would be @ 10.1 lbs though. The electronics on this absolutely kill. From passive P-bass fatness to active Stingray aggressiveness and everything in between.

I'm hooked!
