The new Fullerton Deluxe SB-2 also has a distinctly non-echt 1⅝" nut

My '07 SB-2 was like that. I added a washer under the nut, but all it did was begin to split the fretboard. The neck was straighter, but still not right. My luthier bent it back & heated it. That fixed it but was temporary. Once a neck ski jumps, it's rare that it can be repaired permanently, though that does happen. I finally had G&L make me a new neck. Perfect solution.

Wall, the ski jump is not something the truss rod can help with at all

@RocketMusic , I've seen on the new G&L site that the L2K is still listed as a Fullerton Deluxe, in Pearl Grey and Ruby Red Metallic just like last year. Missing from the Fullerton Deluxe lineup there is the ASAT bass which is already out in the world. Do you know if the new site is just behind or is G&L keeping the Fullerton Deluxe L2K?

Yeah, I noticed that as well. I think the big wigs at BBE need to hire a better marketing firm. Apparently scenarios that we as musicians find normal never occurred to them.

I'd estimate 2 to 3 well matched on see-through or natural finishes. Rather more under solid paint.

My 2017 Kiloton-5 in Clear Red (swamp ash) is made of two pieces, glued right in the middle. Excellent match, almost invisible on the top and back, except by the side near the strap button. Cannot say anything for my Sonic Blue JB-5.

I'm inclined to see two-piece bodies here as well. These are both Tobacco Sunburst-Old School, pine body then alder.

I see 2 pieces in both. Not more than 2, though. Looks like perfect center joints.

Pretty sure I see 2 pieces on my JB, although it is really hard to tell. If it is 2 pieces, they did a fantastic job of matching and mating. (3-tone sunburst.) Can't see a seam on my Blueburst Kiloton, although it must be there. Or must it be? I want to see it, but it's really hard to tell.

Tried to get a shot of the perfect seam right down the middle.

Maybe not visible to anyone else - I tried!
