G&L seems to match and do the seams very well. I can see a slight color difference between the 2 sides in the second pic, but that looks really good.

My Fullerton deluxe LB100 is 2 piece, but you can't tell unless you look very closely. It's impressive!
You can see the 2 pieces of Okoume on my SB-1. I sure love the Old School Tobacco Sunburst finish on this bass
its my favorite finish as well. And I love how it looks on okoume!
My L2K body, Tobacco Sunburst, back and front. You can definitely see the difference in the grain. You can see it from the front if you look really hard and know what you're looking for. The shading around the outside probably helps. Honestly, I never noticed it until I looked after reading the recent posts in this thread. It's not a deal breaker for me, and I'm not sending it back. 
As they say, no one in the audience will even look at the bassist, let along his bass, let along it's top, let along an invisible seam between two wood pieces hidden somewhere under where you are the least probable seeing it.

The Pressurewounds are wound with Alloy 52, a material that has a high magnetic attraction. The tapewounds undoubtedly have a lower amount. Try raising your pickup a little. (Disclaimer...much of the previous nonsense I've written is a WAG. Some is true, like the Alloy 52 info.)
