What's everyone using for bass stands on stage for their G&Ls? We usually play at places with very limited stage area. Looking for something that can hold at least 2 (preferably 3) basses within as small a footprint as possible. My On Stage single stands aren't holding up well and even 2 stands take up more than the ideal amount of space.
Whatever this is (never used a multi stand on stage, these individual ones are small enough)
One of our guitarists uses 2 of them. Not sure I want that, but they do look stable.
They don't work well with offsets (Jazz bass and such) but for symmetrical "butt" instruments these are great. They also fold flat for transport.
I use K&M Guardian stands or D&A Hydra stands. Used Hercules for a long time prior to trying DA Hydra and K&M Guardians. DA and K&M are more stable IMO. Hercules was quite stable though.
K&M Guardian is side by side style. I have the 3, 5, and 3 + 1 style stands.
D&A Hydras are neck grab style stands with more legs than standard neck grab style. I have the Single ones, but they make one that holds 3.

Kinda' two posts in one;
* I don't gig but I have the Hercules 3-up neck-grab stand. Not sure how transportable this would be.
* New bass pic. Replacement, by G&L, of a previous Tribute Kiloton that appeared (to me) to have developed a crack in the body where multiple pieces of wood were glued together.
Here are a couple links for Hercules stands. I don't use one of these, but our guitarist does. My only concern on the one for three instruments is that, given how much basses can weigh, removing one bass from the stand might cause it to become unstable and maybe topple over. I've never seen that happen, so it's probably a non-issue. I'd say it's worth checking into.

I had a 3 year old knock one over with a music stand a few years back (music stand fell into the guitar and stand). No one is knocking over the D&A stands. Hercules stand had 3 legs. D&A has 5. Admittedly the Hercules took some work to knock over. Just calling out that the D&A is more stable.
No one is knocking over my music stands now either. Added the Manhasset weight kit to the base. Extremely stable now.
To be fair, you haven't given the 3 year old the opportunity to knock over the D&A with a music stand
On a serious note, can't really go wrong with either.
What one could go wrong with, IMvHO, are Gravity stands. No reason to get them when there are better options on the market.
My SB-1 sits on a Hercules HCGS-302, but it rarely is at risk of 3 year olds, or 30 year olds with the inebriated dexterity of 3 year olds.
From what I've seen on Amazon, there's about an $8 difference between the D&A and Hercules stands. For $8 (less than 2 cups of a fancy coffee), I'll probably go with the D&A. Doesn't seem like there's much difference in the space used between the 2.
The D&A and Hercules racks seem to take up less space, which is usually at a premium where we play.
Just received this lovely yesterday. Such a truly versatile instrument!

I have used the Hamilton KB38 stands for decades. Absolutely the most stable stand I've ever used. Being a hanging stand, body shape doesn't matter.

+1 That is my go-to stand and has been for years, ever since I bought my first T-Bird in '91.
I picked up one of the Sweetwater sale basses. It arrived yesterday. I'm really liking it. Talkbass strikes again! I would not have known about this deal without you helpful people
