Almost bought it this morning but saving up for a JB. Please tell us all about it and rub it in for me not pulling the trigger. Looks amazing. How do the Lynx pickups compare to the L2000? Let us know.

see that's the thing, i tried a jb on friday and although it was extremely easy to play i couldn't get a dark or vintage tone out of it so that was a no go for me

...That's a really rare bird there. Lynx's are kinda rare anyway, but that's the first one I've ever seen with a maple board. From the pics it looks like the body has both contours, so it's not an SB-2 with a transplanted Lynx neck. Custom order?

there was a guy on reverb that stated that he had his black sb-2 updated with contours by g&l, so maybe his became a lynx in form anyway

Thanks for the PMs people. To clarify I want to keep the JB pictured and get an LB-100 to match. I would need to trade one of my others for this work. I will keep looking. Really love the Detroit Muscle series...

I don't know from first-hand experience in trying to do just that, but eyeballing the saddles on my Tribute M2500, all saddles look like they could accommodate a low B. I'm sure you'd have to open the nut up a bit, though.

I'm ok on opening the nut
the bridge has me worried with my skills and I don't want to pay luthier to do it
