I had looked around on the web but saw a few different pictures. Does the honeyburst look the one pictured or different? I see different photos they all look different.

The only thing with the Lakland 55-01 is that it has the Bartolini mk1's. I would switch those out for the bartolini MK5CBC. Those are a upgrades to the MK1's. I have them in my parts Precision bass V. Those sound way better

+1 Did the same in my Ibanez SR700. Huge difference.

I have a question? I just purchased a M2500 Tribute in honeyburst. On the G&L website it shows one color but on ther websites it shows another. Which should I be expecting? The first link is to G&L and the second is to Bass Northwests website.

Hard to say. The Bass NW pictures looks a little saturated, so it could just be an unintentional effect from the camera. The G&L picture is likely a pre-production protoype, and therefore may not be 100% accurate to Tribute production finishes. Not to mention, these are likely still sprayed by hand and each one will be slightly different from the next.

Generally speaking, the G&L web photo looks closer to *most* of the G&L Honeyburst finishes I've seen, though the burst is a little light. Like I said, the Bass NW photo looks a little too saturated - possibly from using the flash in a dark room.

The color differs slightly between tribute and USA. And the problem with bursts and woody colors is that a computer screen and camera just can't capture the color right.

I almost bought a dual jazz sb-2 once and regret not doing so it was great for a funk sound.

One of the 1Ks in the Rocket Music orders is LPB w matching headstock - and it's a lefty! Should be real nice
