G&L Club Part 7

I have a trib M2K GTB and to me the blend knob may be it's most compelling attribute, though I very much enjoy being able to crank up the mids as well.

I don't know if there is a tone issue when blending MFD pups in passive mode, but Sadowsky doesn't seem to have any problem with his blend control in passive mode.

This is all good to hear. Truth is, if I could have lived with the G&L 5-string bridge spacing, I'm sure I'd have explored the blend knob retrofit further, as my '98 L-2500 was otherwise a wonderful instrument. I play 19 mm bridge spacing exclusively these days.

I just bought a white M2k Tribute, with matching headstock, faux binding and all. Is this the gtb/gts model or what? Internet seems to indicate one or the other. When did they discontinue these? According to the store it had been there a couple of years and the inspection sticker said 2012..

I actually was supposed to buy a ditto looper only, when I went to the store. Then I spotted this sitting all alone, batteries dead and all. They made me an offer I couldn't refuse :D

GTB and a very nice—and pretty—bass it is! Better than a looper!:thumbsup:

NBD....quartersawn neck....black hardware....from the batch of east Indian walnuts circa 2012

Is there anything more fun than receiving a bass at noon and taking it out and gigging that night? This will be fun....this is a replacement for the tribute l2500 I've been hauling around as a backup....have a feeling this one will get more time live than the tribby did
