Geez, turn your back on a couple of them when they're alone in a room and before ya know it they've bred like rabbits

See what happens to your couch when you want to show off yet still don't have an El Toro.

:)
So not that you have to justify anything... but why two JBs?
Pure laziness!:)
Since you asked.... I got the SB first . It does what it's made for but it's not and will never be a JB . BUT I was really digging the stainless frets and the quarter sawn neck . Enter the sunburst JB . Best JB (IMO) that I have had so far . However, I was killing strings going from one tuning to another often . AND I noticed that sitting side by side with the SB that the JB ( regular neck ) would go out of tune and the SB ( quartersawn) would not . SO.... I option ordered the Vintage White with what I loved best about my SB and my JB . Quartersawn neck , Stainless frets , Blocks and Binding, Tints and paint. I set the VW up Eb / D# and the burst in standard . Learn most material with the Burst . Rehearsal and Gig with the VW.
Since you asked:D

Lovely pair of basses that'll cover quite a range of tones too. I like that purple color with the black pg and bound/block neck. Modern color that works with the classic elements.

Thanks much NOLA! The SB is in graphite metallic. Sometimes it has that purplish sheen sometimes it's just dark gray depending on the lighting. G&L finishes are top notch!
