I wish Craig's List had deals like that in my area. It's mostly either over-priced or just junk here.
Best thing I saw on there recently was a Tweed case for a Stratocaster for only $60, but I just got an ABS case a month ago.

I scour it fairly regularly, and while I've bargained down to these kinds of deals, this was the one of the few that was the listing price (guy was divorcing and lost his job, he was selling 30+ instruments and equip).

I missed out on a $350 L-2500 tribute last spring because a guy couldn't sell it local and posted to Chicago CL to get his price (five hour drive).

Hey, I see you have a JP-90! That's what I bought instead of a USA L-2000 25 years ago (on order for two years, gave up waiting). Same color too.

That looks pretty darn cool! I would definitely go with an SB-1/2 pickup. They rock.

I am really digging the sound even more now.
The MFD split is definitely a better match for the MFD humbucker than the standard P-split was.

I put flat chromes on it too.

Now I just need to shield the component cavity to get rid of the noise.

Very nice, I went the other direction and added an MFD soapbar to a cherryburst SB-1 bass some years back. I'll see if I can find a pic.

Didn't someone add another split MFD to an SB-1 a few years ago? Was it "Frankensteinberger"?

Might make an interesting double-P type bass.

Got stage 1 all figured out, just waiting on the piezo bridge. The Novaks are going to be a while, though. Putting the pots for those on Schatten thumbweels under the pg edge.

not a L2K, but I've got rounds on my L1K and flats on my SB-2. I'm a fan of the tones I get with the pair.

Yep, that's what it was based on. I tried a bunch of different spacings trying to get the best tone but keep one coil near the normal spot for my thumb and this sounded best.
