G&L Club Part 7

there's a difference between setting relief in the neck; and, adjusting saddles at the bridge; and specific reasons to do one or the other.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

No.

Thanks for ruining my day, Chef! Hey, I love my L2500 so much and am so desperate I'll admit I have been rolling around my mind thoughts like how much up front money would it cost to get a 6 string G&L bridge cast (or milled) and plated and what it would take to wind my own MFD pickups with 6 poles. Maybe saw two 5ers in half and glue the two 3 pole pieces together and rewind the coils! Sick, I know, but I'm desperate!

I have a Legacy HB2, which is awesome, but i've come to realize i'm a full up bass dewd. Wanna buy it?

Thank you no. That's funny, similar experience. Spent 50 years with guitars with under average results, just to realize after 4 years playing bass I am happy and unfettered, and so say my band mates. Sold all my 6-strings but a 1967 ES-345TD that I gave to my son, but it's still at home as he seems to prefer his G&L ASAT Bluesboy Savannah.

After doing some video-watching of SB-2's, it's come to my conclusion it's in my best interest to own one. These things sound amazing! I wonder if I could put the neck from my L2K on one..

I believe whatever neck option is on your L2K could be selected for an SB-2 -- just a matter of figuring out what neck profile you have and want to match

I'm rather partial to the #10, the only offering for a 5 string. Makes it easier to know what you're getting if you buy used when there's only the one.

Very likely. G&L offers 6 different neck shape options (for 4-string). With 3 different nut widths and 2 board radiuses, and all necks are 21 frets. I cannot imagine there is a specific neck pocket size required for each of these necks...

like in the club please. took delivery of my new USA custom a couple weeks ago. Great piece of ash! Boy do I like it so far. did have to lose the factory strings and throw a set of DR marcus millers on it. great bass.
