G&L L-2000 w/ pickguard pics?

Putting a pickguard on a G&L is like putting a toupee on Yul Brynner. It's like Mike Tyson playing tiddlywinks. It's like driving a Ferrari at 20 m.p.h. It's like Angelina Jolie with thin lips. It's like Rush playing "Louie Louie." It's like reading Moby Dick just because you like tuna sandwiches. It's like buying condoms to use as water balloons. It's like wearing jeans to the Academy Awards. It's like taking the pickguard off a Fender.

I'd try something like this:

You can typically by the 3M stuff in sheets and cut it to whatever size you want. I've used it on motorcycles to protect the paint from bugs and rocks. It works like a charm.

No one will even know it's there.

I was looking for a Pickguard for my lefty G&l L2000 Tribute since a long time ago.

Your's is realy wonderfull, very good idea to make something like a Musicmann pickguard.

Is it possible to have the dimensions ? And to know where you made it ?
