I do like the looks of this one…. and it’s not THAT much more depending on discount…..

I think it would go below $1750. Email Greg if you're seriously considering and get his best price. He very definitely does not bite!

Here is my plan. Wait until tomorrow to call and talk to the store manager. If it is still there and they will discount I’ll buy.

If it’s gone or they won’t discount I’ll wait for another. If that means waiting awhile to find one new or used that speaks to me so be it.

I like it visually better than the new honeyburst but the price difference isn’t huge. A little more discount and I’m sold.

I am seeing the neck size on this one as a plus after reading more.

Sorry for beating a dead horse but as I’m waiting for GC to get back to me….at their current price this used one is $1,375.

This one new G&L L-2000 Honeyburst MP is $1899 but hypothetically could be 10% ish less. I haven’t checked the price because I don’t really like the finish. But for argument let’s just make it 1700 ish. Using my high powered math skills that makes the difference between used 2017 with a case that shows it and new around $300. I think the upgrades on the 2 are equivalent. Neck size is different of course.

I don’t really like the finish on the new one though…..

sigh. I might be at square one unless GC lowers more than I think they will. Just thinking out loud. Thanks for listening.

And seriously thanks for all your help. This place is great and I know it’s my decision to make.
