G&L Price Increase - Effective July 1st

I was under the impression that white body binding was only available on the ASAT bass, until I saw this
G&L L-2000 Empress "Candy Apple Red Metallic/Rosewood" 4 string Bass

Greg, is the white body binding available on all basses now?

I'm guessing you lose the arm carve, so the top is flat?

It looks that way. For ASATs, the G&L site says the forearm contour option can't be used with top binding. I could only guess that the L-2000 is now a flat-top.

I uncovered a new piece of the puzzle today while quoting a bass using the new price list. On neck changes, [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]. So if you happen to want to deviate from the "standard" for a given model on both the profile and the radius, then you'll now get charged twice ($72 MSRP for each change). It used to be just a single $50 MSRP charge if you changed neck numbers (which might have changed either one or both of the neck parameters).

Well, I am just a font of misinformation... while there are two separate line items on the price list for changing the neck profile and changing the radius, I just stumbled across a separate comment in the price list that says they will only charge you once even if you change both things. Sorry for my confusion!! Could this new price list be any MORE confusing?!? LOL
