Gallien-Krueger MB2: Any more info?

Gallien-Krueger MB2

Gallien-Krueger’s entrance into the small-space race is its MB2, a 3-pound head with 500 watts of D power. It’s available on its own ($599 street) or in a combo coupled with one of GK’s neodymium cabs, with prices starting at $999 street. The combos employ a neat-o attachment system for the head, which allows for head-only use with minimal effort. www.gallien-krueger.com.

It's a one-spacer like the F1. My search came up with little except for a couple of NAMM08 pics.

Yeah, thanks, I've seen those pictures. I would love to see it go head to head with the F1, like the LMII is doing with the Shuttle.

Folks who were at NAMM report it's an early prototype. It won't be in stores for another 6 months to a year, apparently.

Actually, I'm a huge GK fan, but I think their marketing department might want to re-think strategy. For me, I frown on shouts of NEW PRODUCT!! only to find out that it's not really there... but just something that's in development. Fusion should have been on the store shelves a long time ago. But all that said... I'm still a GK fan... just wish they'd be more "ahead of the curve".

I'm a big GK fan too. I actually like the fact that they have early leaks like they do. It helps retain interest. I also like that they (usually) make sure their product is up to snuff before releasing it. They probably would've lost a lot of users if they had released the Fusion a year ago and have it crap out.

I just tried a GB Shuttle today and it isn't making it. I do love my 400RB sound and it wasn't the same. Great amp but not my tone.

Yeah, I missed that. Has anyone called? Maybe the online order page isn't set up.

I just called. They show nothing in stock (black or silver) but they are supposed to be receiving them this coming weekend. I had no idea they were available in 2 colors! $599 is not a bad price though!
