Gamers, what are you playing these days?

Has anyone played Halo 4 yet? I'm thinking about picking it up and was wondering how it compares to Halo 3. Story wise and gameplay wise, not so much multiplayer.

Been playing halo 4 since release and I love it. For the most part it feels like Halo. Though, for whatever reason, aiming is A LOT easier. I'm decent FPS player but aiming is usually my weakest point, and it still is but I score head shots like its my job in H4. The new weapons are pretty cool even if they're not totally different from what's already there. I've only played a bit of the campaign (ill get to it lol) but I've heard from a number of folks at it presents the one of the best stories told in a Halo game. Then there's Spartan Ops which are co-op missions separate from the story. I'm rarely a co-op kinda guy but that looks like fun so I'll probably give it a go.

I'd say its a solid buy. I've barely touched anything but multiplayer and I'm still having a blast and this is coming from a guy who plays a lot of RPGs.

Halo 4 is pretty much more Halo, which is good. Nobody does Halo better than Halo!

I have to say that Halo 4 seems to have the best visuals I've yet to see in any game on the 360. At times the game is stunning.

Borderlands 2. Used to play alot of BF3 but its starting to die on Xbox360, so mostly just BL2. I was planning on playing through the Mass Effect series and for a month or so happily smashed through the first game, went on vacation for a week, and haven't turned it back on again. That was back in the beginning of September, and I know I'm right near the end, just haven't had the urge for some reason, great game though, just seems to happen to me with rpg's now.

BL2 online has been my go-to for about a week. I've played through once with a buddy, but four people online is the best: though some folks don't understand sharing the spoils.

Hahaha, I only have 1 buddy I play with and we never play with Randy's cause they never seem to understand the concept of sharing. When its just the 2 of us we just ro-sham-bo for all the good loot.

I'll duel ya for it. ;)

Don't know how to multi-quote in the app, but yeah, having go-to friends and sharing is cool. Especially considering we're closely approaching level 50 and have done the same missions...sometimes three or four times to ensure that we're getting good one offs.

Dueling notwithstanding, I'm sorry, but it's bologna when I've had to leave sessions because I see people camping out away from the action, not getting hit, or dying and losing $ respawning (or worse, not reviving others) then just running to the nearest blue and purple stuff, picking it up, and bolting out of game. When you're fighting two or three super bada$$ loaders, and people have time to open money boxes...there's a bit of an issue.

Also, it surprises me when folks (Xbox) don't hold down X when near ammo. Even if you're full, your teammates get the ammo. Help peeps out yo!

If your Xbox handle is the same as your TB name, I'm pretty sure we were playing together the other night.

Weird, actually my XBL handle is BAMKILLS, an old nickname of mine. Now I'm curious as to who this other Shreddermaximus could be, since it was an original name that me and some of my buddies came up with years ago. :eyebrow:
due to the ps3 mishap I'm playing N64 lately
Aw man, I'm jelly. My N64 is half a country away and I've been fiending for some Turok: Dinosaur Hunter and some Majora's Mask. And Pilotwings. And Madden 64. And some.... you get the point. I miss my N64! :(

:D
Nope, deep enough. I'm totally cool with the idea of someone ripping off our name now. Really.

(and I have no idea what else might be connected to me through that name)

On a related note, once me and my friends were throwing in random names of our friends into google, and after about 4 names or so, found pictures of one of our friends wearing a pink tutu. It was the single greatest day in the history of the internet.
