Gamers, what are you playing these days?

I'm a die hard flight sim junkie.. but based on the commercials I decided to check out Assassins Creed. I got the first one it's interesting .. I'll check out the new one. I never played one of those types of games before.. just sports, FPS and flight sms.. aside from some of the old arcade faves back in the day..

Assassins Creed is a great series. It's my favorite. It does such a good job of really putting you back in a different time. It's really historically accurate, yet twists history to fit the story. If you really get into it, play them in order or else you'll be totally lost. :D

Yeah, Im expecting it to be BIG. Figure how San Andreas would have been if they had the PS3 tech at the time. Los Angeles, exceuse me Los Santos, real time!
I like GTA4, but Im not certain what you mean when you say "take a step back". Vice City and San Andreas seemingly took themselves lesss serious than GTA4, is that what you mean?

I don't know if this is what he meant, but if you watch the rewind trailer on ign.com, they do point out few hints that this probably won't be quite the gritty, dark story that GTA 4 had.

Oh, Im definitely cool with that. I wouldnt mind it if it was a dark gritty story like GTA4, but I wasnt expecting it to be. I heard long ago they were going to make it a a bit more "fun".
I imagine the game to be similar to San Andreas, but in a map more extensive than the Liberty City of GTA4.

Aye, sorry, was meaning for it to be a bit more fun, not as dark.

Always saw GTA games as being fun and not-so-serious.

Im with you on that. They got a bit "moral" with 4, like giving you the option to let certain people live or die.
I almost felt bad at a few points, like, the good person in me says I shouldnt kill this mofo, but Im conflicted because this game is supposed to be about killing mofos...
