I bought Chivalry yesterday from the Steam sale and It's hilarious. I've been having an absolute blast playing it. Highly recommend for $6. Lots of fun. Anyone want to team up, let me know. We could start the TBOT team...

A friend of mine recommended Sniper Elite - Nazi Zombies, and I picked it up in the sale without looking at the system spec, won't run on XP. I really need to get a new OS!

It got TERRIBLE scores on some of the review sites, although, it looks like something I might enjoy.
EDIT: Ahhh, what the heck, for $5, I'm downloading it now...
It just seemed like one of those games that's probably silly enough to work. Dare say that's the thing with a games sale, the prices are so much lower that it isn't much of a risk, if the game is pants it's no great loss!
Uh oh. Picked up Rogue Legacy during the steam summer sale. With an xbox controller in hand, it's pretty darn addictive.

Played through the newest Bioshock game recently and thought it was awesome. I was worried it wouldn't be that good since the second one was pretty meh, but it ended up surprising me quite nicely. Great story, awesome support character, and some brilliant new game play mechanics I've never experienced before. It's a must buy if you can find it for around $40.
I know I've been talking a lot about FFXII, but I just wanted to mention I'm now max level with the 2 best weapons in the game and can still get steam rolled in the end game dungeons pretty easily. challenging experience.
Been doing that, too. TBH, I can't stand the game these days. The missions are so frustrating if you lose them the first time around because restarting them takes forever. First you have to restart the mission, then you almost always have to drive somewhere to pick up something, then you have to drive to the target, then you have to do then real bit of the mission (which is where you should restart instead), and then you often have to escape or chase someone down, etc... It's just really frustrating to play through unless you're acing everything the first time around.

Taxis. Yeah, GTA4 was a lot of drive here, do this, drive there, do that, run from the cops, return. I use taxis to avoid all that damned driving.
Ive been mostly playing the expansion packs though, as the missions are more entertaining, especially The Ballad of Gay Tony (which has way cool weaponry).
GTA5 looks awesome, and it seems the missions are more centered around various bank heists.

At this point, probably not. Since GTA5 will be released in about 6 weeks I would just wait it out.
