A friend of mine shared this with me on Facebook today. Apparently, for this year's "Kiss Kruise," they played through the first Alive! album with (semi)period-correct costumes, stage setup, and instruments.

Yeah it's kinda messed up. Ace and Peter are space and Catman with or without the makeup. It's in my opinion a complete disgrace for anyone else to be wearing that makeup and character. Like tommy Thayer is just tommy. You can't call him the spaceman. Eric singer is just Eric, he don't have 9 lives like Peter criss. Anyway if tommy and Eric wore their own character I wouldn't have this rant for the 100th time. It's almost as bad as axl calling his current GnR lineup Guns n roses.

It's 2015! Those aren't the original ones. Today's day and age anything can be done.mthose are replicas. Gene and Paul aren't nearly as skinny as they were back then

I mean to my plays them songs well. It's just doesn't have ace's touch. Ace has this special tone and touch to the songs, that even though for the reunion in 96 tommy had to reteach ace some of the solos, it just only a mirror image of ace
