Genz Benz 410T-XB2 opinions?

What's this cab sound like? Does it have punchy mids? Or is it scooped? Can the tweeter be turned all the way (or almost all the way) down? I tend to prefer old-school tones.

It's heavy at 90 pounds but the dimensions and swivel back wheels would lessen the blow.

How does this XB2 version compare to the newer XB3 version?

As you might have guessed, this thread was instigated by seeing one of these cabs being put up for sale in my area at a low price.;)

Here's my best description of the XB series...

It's based on an older school voicing, has ceramic magnet based drivers and the tuning is for a fairly agressive bottom end with kind of a rock voicing and good, thick midrange. It's not as articulate or "punchy" as the Neo or Uber lines. The XB-2 and XB-3 are similar sounding though not identical. They are also heavier than the equiv. Uber and Neo models.

badazz. I traded my XB2 in on a new NV215, I then turned and sold that NV cab at a lo$$, ouch, costly lesson. Wish I had kept the XB2 now. Sorta looking for a Uber 410 now, well sorta. I have 2 GB Neox 212T's that I can pair up for a awesome 4x12 setup. I think this will serve me better than a 410, Uber, XB2-3, AE, whatever. I did it last week with stacked vert w/B1500 sounds great.

But mostly I live with Neopak into GB Neox112T/212T for 3x12's works very well for the clubs I been giggin. The XB2, was pretty awesome, kinda heavy to schlep. The 212T's are a breeze to move around and they sound pretty big alone, as 3x12's and esp as 4x12's.

Hmmm, now that I write/read this, I guess I don't really need to keep looking for the Uber 410. But if I see one local, used, I'd still go try it out, just in case. To OP, if the XB-2 cab is local, you should go try it out for sure. I think you'll dig it.
