Genz Benz Prototype?

Glad to get the true story on how the Genz-Benz name came about. I had always wrongly assumed it was a play on Mercedes Benz.

In deed I did. That's was Ed's advise to me when I started out. He also said that if you weren't making mistakes here and there, you were taking enough chances.

Meant to say "weren't" taking enough chances.

Nope. Jeff and I were driving around once though and saw a Mercedes with a license plate that said Genz Benz.

OT from the original thread, but I once saw a Mercedes SL with the top down, a very attractive-looking woman in the driver's seat, and plates that read "WASHIS".
Nicely played, ma'am, and I'll just carry on keeping my distance.
