Genz-Benz Shuttle Megathread: Part II

Hey all, bought a shuttle 6.0 last year and have been absolutely loving it. However the other night at practice it would not power on. Flip switch, no lights. Opened it up and tested the fuse, and it was still good.

Any advice? Hoping it may simply be the switch failing.

Incidentally there's a shuttlemax 12.0 in the area that I'm eyeing as an upgrade. Thoughts?

Message me and I will send you the information on the factory service program. Do not attempt to "fix" it because any additional damage can add to the cost of repair.

I took my Shuttle 6.0 to our rehearsal studio to try since I hadn't been using it much . It replaced my Ampeg PF-800 that I truly love . Well the Genz sounded terrific and the Ampeg went home with me to be my backup/big home rig . The Genz head really blew me away . No clear winner between the two , love them both . Sorry for the bad picture .

Looking for a Genz Benz gig bag for my 6.2. I have a ad in the wanted classified section but no luck yet. Let me know if anyone has one they would let go.

I'm not surprised as the chance of someone having a bag and not an amp is slim to none, unless the amp stops working and the person
doesn't want to fix it. I've had my 6.2 since it was first on the market and not one issue. I suggest using a Gator Bag or something
like it that the amp fits into. I also have a 6.0 as backup (never needed it once I got the 6.2) and I got a Gator Bag for it. It's not as snug
as the actual GB bag, but works fine. Call Sweetwater or your preferred music outlet. Good luck!

Agreeing with Rob, there's a very low probability of getting a Genz bag by itself, probably a decade post-Genz. Find a third party bag that has internal dimensions that would work.

Found a bag that will work but still on the hunt for a GB bag. Thanks for the replies. I did just miss on in the wanted classified 3 weeks ago.

Tuki covers makes one for the 6.0, it's on their website and they make great stuff. You can add a pouch if you want. I have the Genz Benz bag for my 6.2 and have been half heartedly searching for another for my 6.0 for quite a while.

I get wanting the Genz bag, hard to find.

The last 9.2 I got from Reverb came with a GB bag, but its not in good condition. It's currently in rehab waiting for repairs ...aka in the wife's workroom in line behind all other manners of window treatments, slip covers, and such. @Jhalb , if you're handy I might consider sending it on, but its kind of rough, as in a broken zipper, torn satin lining, and missing one strap end clasp.

I've got Tukis for all of my Shuttle 112 combos and cabs, but have yet to bite the bullet on the 210 stuff. I don't plan on taking them out of the house anyway. I haven't seen Tukis on sale ...ever. As a matter of fact, I've had my eye out for the 210s for a couple of years and have seen nothing but the prices going up.
