I think it's nobody these days, which probably means you can buy one easily enough from a US dealer - the Streamliners are switchable from 110 to 240v on the back panel

Haven't played the Streamie in quite a while as I run my Reiner Amplification 6SL7 Pre full time. While the Reiner (hand built point to point construction) reigns supreme, I don't think that there is a better back up amp up on the market than the GB. And with its weight and size, there is no excuse for not schlepping it to every single gig.

That said, I circled back around to this thread this morning as I'll be using the Streamliner regularly for a church gig, paired with a BNA Audio Greenboy F115.
Easy to haul the rig in and out in one trip. DI for FoH. The thing just sounds beastly.

The butts be waggin' on Sunday ! Or at least mine will.

I have a smallish 450 watt 4 ohm 115 cab which sounds very good with the STM900. There is more than enough headroom as you can imagine but I was thinking of converting speaker and crossover to 8 ohm with a different model (of the same brand) speaker having identical power handling but more Xmax. 500 watts into 8 ohms on tap is still more than enough but I was wondering about the effect on dynamic headroom and the bit of compression you get when pushing the amp hard which activates the 3PDM. Moving this direction would get me a tone that is a bit deeper and smoother but I still like a touch of that overdriven sound. Would there be a noticeable change in headroom or max volume and does the 3DPM sound good when the amp is pushed?

Genz-Benz is now owned by KMC which is owned by FMIC

They own allot of brands. Doesn't mean the Genz name or more importantly their engineering & design will go away.

The deal undoubtedly opened up a bigger market to Genz (distribution wis. And, they appear to have remained very much at the forefront of Amp design.
Much unlike SWR who tailed off almost immediately after acquisition.

What concerns me is I finally found my sound and in a form factor that you can't beat. The thought of Genz being diluted or worse discontinued is sickening.

Unfortunately this is the norm when big companies swallow smaller ones.

The sound been looking for decades in a carry pack

Sincerely hope we see more of Andy's and Jeff Gentler genius down the road...... Never been happier with a rig.... Including the ones in the 70s with trucks and roadies

First run with a STL900 last night at a sub gig (Thanks Kirk), through a Uber 410. All I can say is the term "Badass" was thrown around a bit by the drummer from my new band - who was in the crowd. I was really digging the tone, and from the look on his and others faces, it wasn't just me

Bottom line - I'm a happy camper. This rig kills and doesn't break my back!

Streamliner is KILLER especially though an uber 410... I played the bergantinos etc.. I think the Uber 410 is the best 4 ohm 410 cab that i have ever played. PERIOD.. and it takes 1000 watts and dishes it out..

Sheldon.. Yeah man. I had a session in west TX... There was No way i was going to make it back in time to do the gig.. I am so glad that you were able to cover it. Those guys are great and alot of fun.. I had a LATE show that i did cover though

Another +1 for the STM900->Uber 410. It's a good sounding rig that really slams; nice match.

I really dig my Streamliner 900 thru my NEOX 212T. Would love to try it thru one of the Uber cabs, but I don't want to go back to a 410. I would lime to try the 212 though.
