Quite true, unless you have the proper tools, technique and expetience. Unfortunately, I see a fair number of otherwise repairable amps that have been destroyed by well intentioned repair attempts.

UPDATE: I GOT IT OUT WITHOUT DAMAGE!

Sorry was a little hyper when everything worked well afterwards...Thank God for my wife lol

After studying how the plates move when a cable is inserted, our plan was to use crochet hooks (which she has in abundance) to gently pry them back, insert the broken cable with a small drop of krazy glue on the inside tip til it hit the stuck bit...let it set and then pry the connectors back again while pulling it out slowly...came out without any struggle.

Just played for 5 minutes and occasionally twisted the cable while holding a note, no issues :hyper:

I'll keep an eye on it this week and see if it's good...but I didn't pry it back anymore than it normally travels, so I think we're ok. Thanks for the help everyone!

Agedhorse has said himself that he's doing repairs on all Genz Benz stuff (and who's more qualified than him? :) )

I'd say go for it...I've only had mine for about a month or so but it's definitely one of the best purchases I've made out of all my gear...amazing tone, power for days and built pretty strong, all in a 7 lb package...I'd buy a spare if I could!

From the manual...

AUX INPUT –
A 1/4” unbalanced line level aux. input is provided that sums directly to the main output bus,
controlled by the master volume control. This input is ideal for practicing with recorded tracks from a CD player,
IPOD, or MP-3 player. This input is a tip-ring-sleeve type jack with built-in summing resistors that sum left and right
signals when used with a stereo cable. This input will also work with a mono tip-sleeve plug. Adjust the level of the
playback source to balance with the bass guitar’s volume

Should be at the cabinet also. If you have it at the headphones, it's almost impossible not to have it at the speaker out. Double check your speaker connection.
