Genz Benz Streamliner; Part 4

Guys - I stopped by our band's "Beat Lab" today and hooked the SL9 up to my (2) GK Neo 212's today.

Blown away even more with this thing. :bassist: Still gives me goose bumps on a regular basis.

You better be right, I sold my Raven Labs PHA-1 for this amp. I've had this thing for 11 years & I play it every day so the SL better slice bread

I got home this evening after five weeks of travel and FINALLY got to unbox my month old SL900. Like butter!

I've started my much anticipated A/B of my LDS 12/6 and Thunderchild 12 with the SL900 (I preferred my Thunderchild when I did this with my Shuttle 9). I'll hold off on details until I've had more time to compare, plus it's late and I haven't let loose yet. So far it is very, very interesting :hiding:

Have fun!
Cape is too far for me to drop in, or I would
Where you playing?

It was at broadway books and roasting. Kind of a weak turnout but the important thing was that the amp sounded great! My 210 did a well enough job but I'll definitely need something bigger if I want to play larger venues.

Well, after playing with the entire band I'm sold. Haven't found the exact tone yet but I'm in the ball park. The guitards were blow away by the tone and sound. I felt a little envy on their end. Bottom line great head for metal. Lots of low end growl and punch.

Congrats SoonerMatt and Mooch. Still waiting on my SL-900 from YOMS after upgrading from my original order of an SL 600. Have e-mailed YOMS and left voice message for a tracking number (amp was supposed to ship on Tues) but still no call back :hmm:

...Gig Skinz bag on back order because manufactuer can't appear to differentiate *rsehole from elbow. Bass Direct have been chasing back order for months. Looks like my bag is on a boat somewhere between China and (I'm guessing) Holland...

The Streamliner fits in the GigSkinz bag quite nicely. It is nicely made as well. It is worth the wait, so to speak. You will love it!

I found mine in stock at [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] for $59.00US shipped, no tax. This appeared to be $10.00 less than the going street price. It was shipped via UPS Ground the same day (I ordered late in the afternoon too) and received it within 3 days! Furthermore, I opted to pay via PayPal to help protect my 411, so they picked up any associated fees to boot! It looks like they are now out of stock. It may be worth a call.

Music123 has them in stock with Free Ground shipping: Link Removed

In person, the dragon pattern on the fabric is quite subtle. The inside is well padded, very soft, and component friendly.

On FedEx vehicle for delivery
COLUMBIA, MO''

The probably won't get here before my gigs today, which are at an unusually early 9:30 and noon...
Fedex usually deliver at 10:30, but I won't be able to get back inbetween.

I've got jobs Sunday, Tues, and Friday...
