Heard a Streamliner 900 thru my fEARful 12/6/1cube today...AMAZING! Gonna hear it again tomorrow with a 15/6/1 
I'm looking for a little hair \ dirt \ overdrive in my tone but I still want to retain the nice bass tone. I had a Boss GT-10b but it made the tone VERY digital & then got lost in the mix with the guitar immediately.
Would I be better off using the gain in my Streamliner or a using my Sansamp BDDI or even my Shuttlemax 9.2?

I would definitely try the Streamliner gain to add a little hair. Why not? Give it a go. You already have the amp. Tweak the knobs and see what you can do.
You could get a bit of hair by simply bumping the gain up to 3 or 4 with the gain out. Or, hit the gain button and get "gnarly."
Also, depending on what you're shooting you may want to change the Mid selector. On Friedland's video you can hear how he changes the tone of the grind by changing the mid selector and adjusting the mids.

Dont hesitate to turn any of the knobs to their extreme limits (except the master volume).
If you are looking for dirt, I'd start by turning the gain knob all the way up, with the gain button pressed in. (master volume on less than 1).
Adjust the master to the desired volume. Play it. If that's not enough dirt then you need something outboard. If it's too much, turn the gain down until you like it. If you get the gain turned all the way down, turn the gain button off and crank the gain up and start over.
It's all about what you like, you're the only one that's going to find "your" tone. As long as you keep the volume under control, you can turn any and all knobs anyway you want. You're not gonna hurt anything.

Try the "SVT setting" for starters with gain button out, gain and volume at 3:00, bass and mids at 9:00 (2.5 kHz), treble at 12:00, master to taste (maybe 11:00). Adjust from there as needed. This tone is not shy.
Thanks for all the suggestions. Gave em a shot & it sounded great. I'd probably have to have more time & play with the mids more to get it just right. Its RARE that I'd go for that tone as I'm in cover bands & would have to switch from tone to tone often. I'm most likely going to have a BDDI in my 9.2max effects loop.
Id love to run the BDDI with the Streamliner. I gotta give that a shot but the 9.2max gets all my rock gigs & Streamliner for church.

This is pretty much where the knobs on my Streamliner sit permanently, ever since I tried those settings after reading it here a few months ago.
FINALLY got some time with the wife & baby gone to rock with the Streamliner. I've found my rock settings!! Love em!
Gain IN
Gain to 2 O'clock
Volume cut to 9 O'Clock
Bass 10 Oclock
Mids at 3 at 600 hz
Treble at 1
Jazz bass with GK NEO 115s.
LOVE it, what mid range punch & warmth at the same time. Remember the GK NEO 115s are heavy in the low mids & very light in the lows so this amp just fits these cabs perfect to still get low mid punch with built in cab high mid bump too. The Streamliner excessive lows are controlled by the weak GK 115 lows so its just a fantastic pairing
My church settings are usually

Bass at noon
Mids at 10 at 2.5k
Treble at noon

Excellent! Those new settings make sense given your tone goals. Gain in at 9:00 versus gain out at 3:00 is interesting. Also boost 600 Hz to 3:00 versus cut 2.5 kHz to 10:00 addresses the mid profile in different ways. Good stuff.

Im in the middle of 17 shows in a 30 day run ends up in Houston in 2 weeks... Using the streamliner... It has been flawless.. Including 2 days at outdoor shows where the ambient outside ire was 100+ degrees.. Same old story every summer. The Genz is performing flawlessly.. Even when i drive the heck out of it at a 4 ohm load in those outside temps.. My Uber 115s are doing the mechanical part of the job... great rigs..... It just sounds so organic and huge...

My Eq settings vary from day to day....,, not only on what a room sounds like, but what bass im playing and on my mood too.. or if im renting a backline 810 cab that day.
But this week i have been using my alleva coppolo kbp5 bass... Into my peterson tuner, MXR M80 as a line buffer and color sometimes, Boss OC2, DBX compressor, streamliner to uber 115 cabs..
EQ is where i think i remember having it.. Roughly.. because i really dont look..
I like to sort of close my eyes and not look at where it is.. Just turn the knob and listen and feel how its reacting and see when it feels right.. Then thats about it...
IIRC,,,,Eq is usually somewhere with bass about 10 -11 o'clock give or take, Mids1 or 2 o'clock @600 or 10 o'clock depending on room... sometimes 2o'clock @ 2,5k,, Treble at 1 to 2 o'clock.. depending on tweeter setting and where i have the M80 set ..
To me it sound real close just fuller on someday s...
The Alleva is a real light weight piece of alder .. and i mean real light.. so the notes pop out of it and it is real fast feeling,, so it can be real articulate on its own...
