I suppose what we all learn from this is that R&D is not over until the product has been run through both the Front and Side radical horizontal impact tests at the IIHS (Insurance Institute for Highway Safety).
So just call up and say "I hear you are checking crashing the 2012 Hyundai Accent next week, can my new amp go along for the ride?" I am sure that there is room in the trunk.

Far be it from me to go against the grain of a thread 
eyebrow, but my RH450 just arrived today, via FedEx, from New York to my front door in Wellington, New Zealand in 49.5 hours, in perfect condition.
Clearly an isolated incident, but they got it right at least once.
By the way, ProStarAudio was the vendor -- easy to deal with by email, great price, and they must have worn at least some of the shipping costs considering the deal I got (US$769 all up, no footswitch or bag, if you're innerested).
I've posted a very early review in the relevant thread for those very few still trying to decide between the two....

I don't have a SL900 (yet) but I did save 15% on my car insurance, slept at a Holiday Inn Express last night and also had to call my doctor, old collage room-mate, 4 of my ex-girlfriends, my best friend, the hot waitress at the corner bar, sent a text to everyone in my phone and posted on Facebook because I had an erection that lasted more than 4 hours. Lucky for me I had a Sham-WOW! to clean up the mess afterwards.
